Chapter 57

• Becky chuckled and ushered Abby into the bathroom to brush her teeth. She tucked her into bed and they read two stories before Becky kissed her good night and turned out the light.
• With nothing left to do for the rest of the night, Becky went into her own room and showered, changing into her shorty pajamas before heading back downstairs. She grabbed the laptop off the kitchen table and then headed into the media room with it. She cued up some episodes of Nashville on the big-screen television and then settled in for a binge-watching session.
• With the laptop open on her lap and Nashville playing in the background, she was stalking the internet for any mentions and pictures of Barry, when an incoming Skype call interrupted her.
