Chapter 52

• After more than a week at his home, Becky and Abby found Barry's life completely changed. He discovered that he had to leave work early in order to spend time with his daughter before she went to bed. It didn't hurt that he also anticipated spending romantic meals with his stunning nanny.
• Though he hadn't pursued her since their initial kiss, their sexual tension was still sizzling. It wasn't as though he hadn't desired to, and the knowledge that she slept just across the hall from him was gradually wearing thin. It was hotter even though he knew it was improper to see her in his bed, nude.
• Yet after simply spending time with her and conversing, he had developed a hunger for more than just her body. She appeared really interested in hearing about his day, and he liked hearing about hers and what she and Abby were up to. Having someone to return home to and unwind after a long day was a new experience for him. She readily shared her thoughts and recommendations while paying close attention. Even if they weren't always in agreement, it was still enjoyable. He liked her feistiness and occasionally found himself arguing with her just to get under her skin.
