• Brian felt bad for Ainsley as the other guys wolf-whistled and hooted at Nathan's arrogance. She had a legitimate interest in learning about her soon-to-be spouse's personality. In the unlikely event that Nathan treated her badly, perhaps he would sneak her a can of Mace as she left the reception.
• Brian glanced out the window as the pink neon sign flashed its greeting as the limousine came to a stop. He did not want to be sitting in a strip club with these wankers, but he got out of the car and went into the dive with the others.
• Thankfully, the club was dark despite the loud music. There were different platforms and poles on the stage, and on each one there was a perhaps nude lady dancing to the music. He winced because he had never seen so many false tits at once. Nathan and his group took seats close to the front and got more alcohol almost away. Brian stayed back and selected a table close to the wall. He was not going to partake in their enjoyment in any manner.
