Chapter 12

• Dane returns home quite early from work. His encounter with Ciara makes him want to confide in Alexia but he can't due to his attitude towards her in the morning. His frustration gets the better of him, causing him to create a mess in the house.
• He goes into the bedroom in search of Alexis but is surprised when he doesn't find her.
• “Where could she be?” He thinks to himself. He decides to make dinner for the both of them in her absence so he can use that to apologize for his behaviour in the morning. Dane loves cooking, so he easily navigates his way around the kitchen.
