Chapter 11

• The next morning, Dane wakes up before Alexia. His eyes wander to the pure, smooth look on Alexia's face. A slight ray of sunshine settles on her face, making her look even more radiant while asleep. Dane's heart freezes for a moment as he continues to stare at Alexia's face. For a minute, it seems as though nothing else matters.
• After a while, Alexia's stira in her sleep, turning to Dane who seemed lost in a trance. “Dane, Dane, are you okay?” She calls out to me.
• Embarrassed that she almost caught him drooling on her face, he clears his throat and hurriedly tries to get out of bed without looking at her.
