Chapter 49 Raped

  • His eyes fixated on me with pure disgust and hatred in them. Those visible emotions in Damon's eyes made me want to disappear. Tears stream down my eyes, making my face completely wet. I could not dare to speak or even at least defend myself from his judgment. I wanted to but then, the cat caught my tongue. I became mute, helpless in his sight. But then, when Damon tried to turn his back on me, I immediately clung my hands on him. Stopping him from his track. He did stop eventually but then I later regretted my move for Damon threw me away. Making me fall on the floor and hit the glass center table. Luckily, the impact did not break the thing however still unfortunate for me because the sharp edge of it cut my left arm. The wound started bleeding as the pain coming from it slowly crawled through my system. I held the wound with my other hand so I could stop the bleeding and then slowly pulled myself together. I looked at Damon. And for a span of a second, I could see worry in his eyes as he stared at my wounded arm. Yet, upon diverting his eyes back to me, his expression quickly changes. Gone is the worry. Judging. Disgust. And hatred. Those are what I could see.
  • “Let me explain first, Damon...” I trailed and when he kept his silence, I continued. “It wasn't my choice–”
