Chapter 17 Lie
- Sun welcomed me as soon as I stepped outside my apartment. Its rays kiss my skin and touch my cheeks making them blush as I start jogging. The cool morning breeze has nothing to do with the sun, it is warm in a soothing way. Not too hot, fair enough... not painful in my skin.
- I passed by the nearest park in my area and stopped for minutes. Sweats bead down but didn't care to wipe them off. Instead, I pour the remaining water on my tumbler into my face. The water streams down my neck, down to the in-between of my mountains. From my peripheral vision, I saw one biker pass by at speed but then turn slowly when I caught his attention.
- I smirked and ignored him. And then I began on my trail again. This is the first time I tried jogging here early in the morning since jogging wasn't part of my routine exercise. Usually, I settled myself inside my apartment, doing my exercise while following some video on my TV screen. But today, I decided to try new things, and it started here.
