• Asher was shocked when he heard what Alaric called him. He hasn’t heard that name for over a hundred years now and the name brought back sad memories. He frowned, wondering how Alaric was able to know about that wicked goddess who tried to ruin his life. “What did you call you me?”
• Alaric smiled but before he could answer, Edward appeared. They both held a stare-down contest until Edward broke it by glancing at Asher. “The demon king, finally I am making your acquaintance. You do know, I have always known the demon palace to be on the left side of the West hill. But alas, what I had witnessed there was an abandoned palace. I had to track your presence to this one.”
• Edward stared at Alaric with a raised eyebrow, he was a little surprised that the man knew of the previous demon palace. “The previous kings dwelled in that palace.”
