• HAYLEY’S P.O.V
• Dad took me back home. While he drove, he called grandma and grandpa to tell them that I was safe but even he must have realized that I truly couldn’t stand to be around anyone at that moment. He drove in complete silence but every few seconds, he would glance over at me to make sure that I was alright.
• Alana was waiting for us outside the house. She rushed over to me, holding me by her side like a newborn and fussing over me. A part of me wanted to push her away but another part of me just wanted to bask in the feeling of being held and being doted on.
