Chapter 12

• It took exactly twenty two minutes for Jake to walk into my room. I had ditched the cover up and was lounging on the bed in the lingerie when he made his way into the room. His eyes ran over my figure and I could see the vein in his head pulsing. I heard the door click shut and I knew that I was in for a treat.
• He crossed the length of the room until he was standing directly at the foot of the bed. I watched as he slowly stripped off his tie and his shirt. He undid his belt buckle but left his pants on. I made to sit up but he held out a hand to stop me.
• “How was the drink with my father?” I teased and he growled. “I take it that it didn’t go so well.”
