- Max finished confirming some appointments with him and then left. He chuckled a bit when he saw him discreetly watching her at lunchtime and was about to enter the cafeteria to scare off the flock of executives approaching to talk to her. He swore he wasn't doing it to provoke him, but he liked to see him on alert. After all, he wasn't as heartless or indifferent as he wanted to appear.
- But at three in the afternoon, the place really tensed up when the Germans came out of the elevator. The two blondes with gray eyes. Cassian Wolf looked like a Nordic demigod in a designer suit and his sister was like a model, tall, slim, and proud.
