Chapter 16 Wounded Again

• The cries of pain from Petra reach the ears of the guards, who rush to her aid. They take her immediately to her room and call the doctor while Adelaide stays there, crying with great sorrow for what just happened.
• "What happened?" Lilith, who has just returned from the capital, asks when she sees the commotion at the entrance. She gets out of the car immediately and runs to the rooms.
• "Can someone tell me what happened here?" she yells, pushing aside the onlookers surrounding Petra's bed.
