Chapter 126 What Is Your Idea?
- "I don't think I should say too much, you know me better than I know myself," Egil says to Benedict as he drinks from his glass, never taking his eyes off him. "I have no intention of disputing with you over my wife or discussing what you two did. I'm not going to ask you to stay away from her because I know you won't, unless I kill you, but I do want you to be aware of your place and mine. I don't want this to in any way affect the clan, or our reputation, or my daughter's, who is the future heiress of all this."
- Benedict also drinks from his glass of wine.
- "I know perfectly well what my place and limitations are," Egil notices the bitterness in his brother's words. "I wouldn't do anything to harm Adelaide, unlike what you've been doing since she came to this estate."
