Chapter 6 Getting Married

• My father, the man who should never have disappointed me in this way, starts scolding me under his breath so that the people around us don't hear what he's saying as we approach the altar.
• "I can't understand where I went wrong with you. You always had what you wanted and reminded me of the love you desired from your husband. You have a man who is willing to give you that, so why are you acting so childish?" my father asks, gripping me tightly.
• "I can't understand why you're doing this, father. My life was perfect as it was. So why are you forcing me to do this?" I ask, annoyed.
