Chapter 12 Not Expecting It

• I finish my shower, but I can't calm down the rush of sensations it causes me. Knowing that I can't stay here forever to satisfy a nagging curiosity, I look around for something to cover my nudity, while hoping that Ryan is not nearby.
• "No, it's best if he's not in the room. I've taken long enough for him to get dressed and leave. He's probably not here anymore," I tell myself mentally to calm down.
• "Things will be fine, I just have to go out and face it. I'm not a little girl anymore, I can handle this," I say to myself as I search for the towel.
