• At the large metal gate, she found the guard’s booth empty, which was very strange as it never happened. Confused, she looked around and then she saw him, a few meters away was Adam, talking to “Arthur” the doorman. Incredulous, he waved for her to come out. Without hesitation, she ran to the exit and walked in search of a taxi. Relieved to be out of that house, she went to meet her friend Sue, who knew she had to pay for the ride. It wasn’t the first time she had done it.
• “Who are you running away from this time?”
• “Sue, from no one. I just left without money and… I think I left my phone,” she smiled, hoping she wouldn’t insist.
