• Surprised and excited to see her at the door of his house, Jax invited Victoria in. He was alone, working on some documents, which he didn’t hesitate to set aside to give her his full attention. He hadn’t seen her since the altercation at the club.
• “I’m sorry about what happened at the club, but that guy was too close to you, Vic,” he observed her with those crystal green eyes that had an effect on her.
