• Tristan intentionally didn’t leave his room that Friday morning - he wanted to see if Roth would make an effort on his own to try to reach Tristan, but unfortunately he was disappointed as Roth did not come to see Tristan or even brought up the radio show.
• It was not until agony got the best of him that he stepped out to roam around in the mansion and check where Roth was, to find out that Roth was not in at all. With a sinking feeling, Tristan realized that Roth did not care about him, he had been off to his usual shenanigans, leaving Tristan be.
• Tristan inwardly regretted not having stepped out of his room that morning - maybe he would have accidentally encountered Roth somewhere and then Roth would have talked to him? Roth had always been somewhat shy, apologizing was not his best suit. Why was he giving himself explanations from Roth’s end, Tristan condemned himself.
