Chapter 88
- Eleanor could not come over during the week and therefore she made up for it on the weekend, and Tristan did not complain, because he liked her company. Just now, she had finished yet another tale from her college that had made Tristan double over in laughter.
- Tristan felt liberated when she was around - his mind not consumed by the usual worries or thoughts of Roth. She kept him so widely engaged with herself that he forgot all of his problems for a while.
- It was getting late and she had asked Tristan several times if he was hungry, but he was waiting for Roth. He had all of his meals with Roth for the past week and he thought it would be nice if they all ate together. After waving her off by saying he is not hungry a couple of times, he told her the truth.
