Chapter 81 I am jealous
- We're on our way to the workplace now, and my head is lying against the window. The rain has also stopped. He didn't come home yesterday, so we'll come to the office together today. I didn't even take my car, instead opting for his, despite the fact that I didn't have anything to use on the way home. I have no recollection of what occurred yesterday and have blindly accepted that this is how our situation is. I was about to walk down when I saw us approaching the building, but as we got closer, I noticed someone standing in front of the building opposite a car I recognized.
- "Take me down here," I say, without looking at Lucas since I'm staring out the window at Fernan. I looked at Lucas when he didn't stop, and he only stared straight ahead. Even though I was irritated, I merely waited for him to stop the car.
- When he came to a halt, I hurriedly opened the door to return to where I had last seen Fernan. Who will he meet here? A woman whom he is courting does not work here. Perhaps he mistook that woman for working here. When one of my feet touched the ground, Travis grabbed my hand, and I turned to face him. My brow wrinkled as I gazed at the hand that was holding me. I removed it again since Fernan could have left and I wouldn't be able to get his number again if this man didn't let go of me.
