Chapter 37 You've changed
- I went to my desk as if I were floating in the air while walking. It was as if my mouth was sewn up so as not to give an opinion. My whole body was stiff but I didn't expect it to soften. It was as if I had been stripped of my bones. As soon as I sat down, I bowed my head, tears were already dripping. Large grains of tears fell to the floor and I didn’t know how to stop them.
- When someone tapped my arm, I looked up thinking it was Adams, but I was wrong because it was Derek. Instead of being afraid of him, I didn’t react and just went back to my posture earlier. How do I show drastic distress? It was as if I had been injured and poured alcohol so much that I was numb. I couldn’t get enough because I felt I had no right.
- When the door opened I did not lookup. I’m sure it was Adams. My heart beat faster. What can I tell him? What reaction will I have? When I heard footsteps coming towards me I swallowed several times. I became a stump permanently as the person I was waiting for started speaking.
