Chapter 54 I need to call Adams

• I woke up to find that I was already in the car. It must have been morning when he picked me up so that Yuna couldn't catch us, but before we left, he cleaned the bed we used. He asked his bodyguards to send a replacement cover and he changed it. The sun was approaching when we returned to his house. Before I could enter I saw Aria waiting outside her door. Don’t tell me she didn’t sleep all night just to wait for Adams. I couldn't wait for Adams to open the door for me and I went out on my own.
• I walked in first and passed Aria because I just don’t want to start a mess so I was the only one to avoid. One more thing, I have to get into the office today. I can't be absent. Even though my relationship is with the owner of the company, I don't want to take advantage of that just to have the privilege.
• "Adams," she called before I walked onto the stairs. I tightened my fist to keep my annoyance at bay since I didn't want to ruin my mood in the morning. I didn't bother waiting for Adams anymore and walked directly to my room. I got ready soon after because I had an obligation at the office. I'm not sure if I'll ask Adams to send me off since I don't want us to have a problem in the office. They could accuse me of fabricating an explanation for my absence just because Adams is my boyfriend.
