Chapter 47 Answer her
- I focused my attention on the woman with the soothing voice. She was staring at a flower. I wanted to say I wasn't interested in flowers, but I just didn't say anything and let her say what she wanted. While I was in her face, she gazed at the flower. I had no idea that such a face existed. She resembled a deity who descended to Earth to punish humanity. Her face is heavenly, yet there's no denying she's terrifying. She is not wearing jewelry, so her simple appearance may be admired by everybody.
- "These are flower Lupins," she continued: “, as I looked at what she was gazing at. I've never seen a bloom like this before. It's a mythical flower. Those blossoms are tall and standing. The majority are purple, with a few being pink. She persevered as the few moved there. "Don't they look nice? They are, however, sometimes poisonous to touch."
- I glanced at the flowers and wondered what else could be more lovely to look at but also more destructive. I thanked and bowed even though I wasn't going to touch the flower or the marble flower vase I was meant to hold. Because the first thing I noticed about her was that she reminded me of Adams. I drew away when it occurred to me that she was Adams' mother. I want to scratch my head because the way I act around her is casual. My leg ached as I backed away, and I was terrified I'd break something. If I break something here, she will have a negative impression of me or any of her family members. When I looked at Adams' mommy, she was now staring behind me, and when I looked back, she was still looking in that direction. I saw Adams trussing the flower vase while squatting.
