Chapter 6 Come to my office NOW
- Remembering what occurred causes me to awaken. I felt as though my bones had been fractured as I sprang out of bed. Especially when I saw a heavy hand on my stomach. I smacked my mouth with what I was going to say as I glanced back at it. I cautiously took the Chief's hand away and lowered my feet to the icy floor. the cold floor instantly enveloped my feet.
- I gathered my garments quietly so as not to make a sound. I'll get dressed outside the door. I raise my eyes to the camera we used last night. Every time I realized that there was a film of what we did last night with my face plainly visible, my heart hammered. I was going to walk there when Adams leaped out of bed. As a result, I stop walking. I was lucky, and he didn't wake up.
- I went out while still struggling to get dressed. I exited the room without hesitation after putting it on. Because of the enormous size of the home, I was afraid I'd get lost, but thankfully, I noticed the main door immediately away. I almost fell because I was rushing up the stairs.
- Even his house is still far from the main gate. This is a palace, not a house! I ran without wearing anything on my feet and blocked a taxi. I still had a hard time finding my way out. Fortunately and when I went down, I had no helper to meet because maybe it was too early. While in the car, I could feel the stickiness of my body.
- “Ma'am.”
- “Ma'am we're here.” The driver scratched his head because I did not instantly turn to him.
- I stared out the window and closed my eyes tightly as I thought about what happened last night. Is it true that I did that to the Chief Executive Officer of our company?! I can still accept if I did it with my coworker, but I can't process if it is him. I slapped both my cheeks at the same time to wake up, I even pinched them, but I didn't wake up, and my face just got hurt.
- When the driver looked at me, I frowned. I'm not sure what I'm doing. I turned to face him and smiled uncomfortably since he thought I was strange. Furthermore, I just gulped and pay. I didn't allow our skins to stick together because it would be terrible, and who knows what more may happen, especially in my case now.
- When I got up to my room, I sat down and thought about what had happened the night before—why it happened. I just gazed at the ceiling and realized I had no option but to get up since I needed to go to the workplace and was not permitted to be absent. I'll simply conceal my face and hope I don't run into Adams.
- After I went to the bathroom, I got dressed and looked in the mirror at my body, but I instantly covered my hands around my neck because of the hickey on my neck. I had no idea he was doing something like this!
- I bought a scarf that could be wrapped around my neck even at midday and kept me toasty. Even if I want to complain, I'm not sure whom to complain to! Maybe if I grumbled to Adams eventually, he'd fire me.
- I hadn't realized I was already in front of the building. Because of what I'm wearing, I appear to be a stalker. I put on a black outfit, a black scarf, and sunglasses before hiding behind the walls. I'm not sure why I'm doing this. Sir Adams and I will never meet because he is at the very top of this floor, where my idiocy occurred.
- When I was in the elevator, I didn't know how many demons and saints I had called so that I wouldn't be able to meet with the Chief. Every time the elevator opens; I turn around because I'm afraid of the possibility that the Chief might be the next to enter. Even when I was on the right floor, I was still hiding in the walls. People may think I am weird.
- I breathed a sigh of relief when I peeked into the office and the Chief was not there. I held on to the door while the only thing that stung was my eyes.
- I was about to walk in when I felt a quick touch from behind me. While I was still turning my back, someone approached me. When Yuna spoke, my eyes widened, and I was ready to flee.
- “Hey! Where did you go last night, huh?! I was waiting for you at the bus stop, but you didn't come!” She asks to sulk.
- Because it was only her, I took a big breath. Cats and rats are hunting my heart, so I clutch it tightly. I rolled my eyes at her for making me nervous for no reason.
- “I told you last night not to wait for me!” I slapped her arm because my chest could not calm the throbbing.
- “You didn't tell me where you were going! Hmph!” She crossed her arms then walked first after she removed her arm that was holding me.
- I followed her and hung my arm around her arm so that she would stop scowling. I walked with her and just laughed. I forgot what happened last night and I would have gradually forgotten that, but I think I will think twice more tonight when a man knocked on the door to enter our office.
- I immediately hid behind Yuna, hoping that the Chief wouldn't see me, even though I knew that he directly looked at me. Yuna turned her head to me, wondering how I was behaving.
- The Chief walks towards us. He stepped slowly, grinning and holding my stiletto. I bit the bottom of my lip as Yuna whispered to me.
- “Omg! Omg! He is coming to me!” She moves her big ass, so she accidentally hits my stomach. I instantly pinched her side to calm her down.
- Because Adams is already in front of Yuna, I want the ground to swallow me up. When Adams dropped my stilettos on the desk, Yuna and I both jumped. And the next time he asked me, I felt like I was going insane, and all my coworkers heard it. I guess I'll become tired of hearing the question from them afterward.
- “I was just next to you before I went to sleep, why when I woke up you weren't next to me?.” His voice was not loud and angry, but it was intense. And anyone who hears will surely know immediately what we did as soon as he uttered the word “asleep” and “awake”.
- I didn't answer and hid behind Yuna because my workmate didn't know if he was referring to Yuna or me, but the next thing he said I knew I had nothing way to escape.
- “Come to my office. NOW.”
