Chapter 66 Love me again
- I never saw him again after that. I didn't leave his room until I'd spent enough time pondering where things went wrong first. I consider how we got here, as well as what he mentioned about Aria being responsible for everything. She was the one who told the guard to make me leave, so perhaps the guard has left despite the fact that he has been working there for much too long. I'm so caught up in my thoughts that I'm not even aware that it's getting dark. I didn't even leave his room, intending to wait for him, but I didn't know I'd fallen asleep from too long waiting.
- I awoke to the sun's bright rays, and as I glanced at who had pulled the curtain, I noticed a maid who had taken the curtains and appeared to be intending to replace them. I sat up from lying down and looked at my feet sans the stilettos I had forgotten to take off before falling asleep. Even my resting position is comfortable, and I have a blanket covering half of my body. I rubbed my eyes while yawning. I didn't notice the time, and I left the workplace without saying goodbye again, and it seems that I will be absent again today.
- As she finished removing the curtains, the maid stared at me. She opened her lips, then closed it again, wanting to say something but being unable to do so. I just looked straight at her, hoping she'd say something, but she ultimately turned her back on me. She appears to be strange. I got out of bed because I wanted to go to Adams and defend myself against what he was saying. I wanted to tell him that what I said was factually inaccurate, but I was plainly stunned. I cleaned my face and changed into his clothes in the cabinet next. His office clothing was gone when I opened it, but he still had a lot of house clothes.
