Chapter 34 Fill all your hole

• I respect it. I know he doesn't have to tell me where he is or where he is going but is it such a huge issue if I ask him? He claimed he was going to work, but I arrived late because he said he would pick me up, but it's been an hour and no one has picked me up. Even when I reached the office, there was no Adams to speak with. Because I'm scared, it's not a big concern for him to say he'll be late.
• In my chest, a bitter fury welled up. There appears to be a boundary between us, and if I cross it, something horrible will happen to me. It's as though his world is hard to crack. It's difficult to tell what or who he is. I want to take his hand in mine and ask him what his favorite color is, but why do we seem so far apart?
• When he walked inside his office, I noticed a few spots of blood on the inside of his polo shirt. I simply averted my gaze and did not ask any further inquiries. I don't want to ask, so I'll simply let him tell if he wants to. I don't want to be accused of interfering in his life when I shouldn't be. My heart pounded quicker as he came closer. Not because he was there, but because of the fragrance that lingered on his skin. It is not irritating to the nose, yet it is light and feminine.
