Liam ran behind her, he should have thought of the kid's ward too, but he had forgotten in all the haste, he just hope they were all gone, at least ten children were in there and they made a big mistake leaving them there and the children ward was too far from the Ward where Annette had been, he still couldn't believe that she was no more, he felt like he failed her, he failed her, failed to give her freedom and now she was dead, but he promised himself that he won't let her just die in vain, he would make sure to catch the people involved in this and bring them to face justice for all their crimes and also, he would make sure her young son gets to be with her family too.
Ruby opened the door to the children's ward and he held his breath and walked in behind her, she was breathing heavily as she checked on the children and collapsed on the ground a few moments later, he ran to her and knelt beside her, she was a crying mess, he didn't know the actual number of children in the room so he couldn't tell.
