Chapter 24

• Liam sat staring at the screen of his laptop, no matter how he searched there was nowhere it was written, how the fuck does the internet not have a good document of how this fucked up island came into existence, he had been in it for over two hours, yes the name was there and there were some information about it but no one knew how it came about, not even the smallest of details about the founding fathers, there has to be someone who first came to the place and also when it started, the articles he saw dated back twenty years ago, and that was the oldest, he couldn't conclude based off that the island didn't exist until twenty years ago, he just have to look further, if only he was in the city, he would have gone to a library where history books are kept, there has to be something somewhere, he gave up on looking after checking for few more minutes, he went to his room where Kristen was laid sleeping, the little had cried earlier and after he fed her she played for a while before she fell asleep, she was a peaceful child and that was one of the many things he has come to love about her, he never dreamt of having a child this year or anytime soon but the more time he spent with Kristen the more time he knew this was his destiny, to be a dad, and he was going to make sure he does a good job, he went back to the living room after making sure she was fine, the door clicked, he already knew who it was, there was only one there person that has the key to the house and that's Ruby.
• "Wow, now no power too? What the fuck is going on with this island?"
