Chapter 152

Two weeks after meeting with his family, Ruby officially moved in with Liam, he hasn’t said anything about marriage or even said anything related to it to her since she had told him she didn’t want to hear it, he was amazing in every way, she found peace with him, every day she wakes up each morning and found reasons to be thankful that she was pregnant for him and no one else, she got a lot closer with Kristen too, the little one was her new best friend and they did things together when she was not at work, she decided to file for a maternal leave earlier since she hadn’t taken any major vacation in years, she was sure she would get it, she wanted to focus on being a mom for a while, she hasn’t told Liam about it yet, she wanted it to be finalized first.
She took a sip of water from her bottle and stared at the night sky, she was currently seated on Liam’s balcony and just being alone, she thought of how much life has changed for her ever since she found out she was with child, her self esteem which she didn’t know was kind of low, went up, she was more open and saw life in a different light, going for antenatal was fun, especially speaking with other expectant moms, it was wholesome.
She also thought of life after her baby comes, what would it be like having a child that was from her? Would she feel her heart like Kristen does or would there be greater love? She couldn’t tell how it would be yet but she looked forward to it.
