• Meeting Ruby again raised a lot of emotions in him. Liam found himself looking in her direction a lot of times and she was watching him too, he knew because each time he looked in her direction, their eyes always met, and he felt bad that he wasn’t paying attention to what’s going on around him.
• After the way she responded to him earlier he had wanted to just ignore her and let her have it but it only took a while for that thought to go away, now as they both walked out of the event venue towards a much more quiet area, his head was filled with thoughts of her and all the times they had spent together, he just couldn’t understand why they couldn’t at least be friends, it’s not like they hated each other or anything like that.
• At least she wanted to talk to him now even though right now, he didn’t even know what they were going to talk about, he did have things to talk to her about but these were things she had made clear that she didn’t want to hear, women were so hard to deal with, he wished he could just do something crazy like picking her up, dump her in his car and take her home with him, and leave her there until she finally agrees to be with him, but he knew that might land him in jail.
