• Ruby woke up the next morning in Liam's arms, it took her a while to grabs what happened and why she slept with him on the same bed and when she did remember, she wished she hadn't, the event of the previous night replayed in her head like a movie, that moment the man had fallen from the impact of the gun shot, him struggling to still run away after bring shot, the men who shot him stopping him and beating him up until he was dead and then loading him into their truck, she has never witness such horrors before and it heart wrecking, even what Liam had told her about his experience didn't compare to it, his was worst, Liam was such a happy and easygoing person that she would never had guess that such a thing happened to him, he had some kind of strong coping technic, she wished she had that too, then she won't have to have nightmares and be trapped in the past of ugly events, the most ugly events of her life being her divorce and also the murder she witnessed yesterday night, that person killed was someone's son, boyfriend and might even be someone's husband and father and he will never get to meet his love ones again, the thought of it scared her and made her sad, she felt tears gather in her eyes again.

• Liam asked, she looked up to see him watching her, how can she trust him so much? She barely knew him too, how can she be so sure and even slept next to him, she was someone who usually take time before she gets close to someone but Liam, he was different, she couldn't say how but she just felt the difference, maybe that's why.
