• The only thing that remained in my mind was how she had appeared when she descended those stairs earlier in the evening. The way in which her hips had swayed, and the way in which the slit in her dress had parted to expose the velvety smoothness of her leg. When I had put that necklace on her, her skin had a velvety smoothness to it. The way she had tasted when she expressed her gratitude by lightly brushing her lips against mine. And I could still catch a whiff of her. Jesus, just thinking about it all brought on a strong sexual desire. I regret that things could not have gone in a different direction. I wished I could have been holding her instead of standing there feeling guilty. I also wished she could have been holding me.
