• Jeri looked at Princess Reagan. She stood outside the door, staring at it. She wasn’t sure if that was fear or apprehension in her eyes, but she felt bad for her. Having never known her father or mother, Jeri understood how this must be affecting her.
• Princess Aireese came outside and smiled at Reagan before she turned and looked at Bastian. “I’ve started removing it. There are a lot of blocks in his mind, but I am getting used to the magic used, so unraveling it is easier.” She gave Reagan a gentle look. “I don’t know if he will remember your mother. He may never, but his mind is intact, which is surprising for how long he has been living under the lies spelled to him.”
