• Jeri stood beside Crissy and glanced at Princess Kara’s bow in her hand. She was going to be protected by an archer. That was something she’d never considered happening in her life. She looked around at the Alterealm royals and was a bit taken aback by their appearances. All of them were in black leather and had weapons hanging off of them. She felt like she’d been transported back in time.
• Crissy handed her an earbud. “My phone is connected, so you can listen in.” She nodded.
• Jeri put it in her ear and then jolted to hear the voices in her ear.
