• Hearing Quinn's question, my throat nearly ran dry as I thought I had slipped, but I immediately recovered and answered, "Of course they, or have you forgotten? Ace and the Lady he came with?" I asked. She nodded and asked no more 'Damn girl you nearly put me in high blood pressure from that question of yours?' I almost screamed inwardly while resisting the urge to smack the hell out of her. How can she know that there were two who came and still ask that question? Although I know she noticed my nervous expression a few minutes ago she didn't comment.
