Chapter 146 I Will Be Damned
- Quinn POV
- The next day, I met up with her as early as possible, and we headed over to the training court. After a lot of exchange, I realised that even though we practically have the same strengths but there are many ways she could use to win me each time because of her experience. We fought and fought and each day I wouldn't stop until I learnt new knowledge, I could feel myself improving and although I'm grateful to her I don't know if she was doing it out of guilt or genuinely as she was confused me most of the time advising on things that have nothing to do with her guilt while giving me pointers on things that a normal trainer will leave for a Mafia to discover themselves. It made me improve so fast, and in just a month, I was already overpowering her, and there were no tactics she could use that I didn't have a counter to.
- Most of the credits were because of her, but there are some I learnt by myself as we trained, and it was thanks to our physical fight, or else it would have been impossible. She has completely never talked about anything we discussed a month ago as if they were already a past that should remain past, but how can I let it just pass? She must have carried it in her mind for many years if not until now, so how can I just forget it like that when it has everything to do with my family and myself? But since she has no plans on discussing that, I will not pressure her at all.
