• Denice took her spot 45 feet away and Gregory took his place. Jake was standing on the platform just in front of the open grassy area. The platform was slightly raised and was composed of smooth rocks.
• “Good luck to you both. Begin.” Jake boomed.
• Denice closed her mind link for the first time since being in Golden Crescent. She always kept an open line of communication with her pack, but more importantly, her siblings.
