• After they made it to the main floor, they piled in and grabbed dinner. As wolves, their metabolism ran higher than a human’s so the consumption of calories had to outweigh the amount being exerted.
• It was pasta night in the packhouse, so different pastas of different varieties were being served, alongside vegetables, salad, bread, fruit and water, juice or wine. At Golden Crescent they didn’t overdo it with the alcohol. Wolves had a higher tolerance for alcohol, which meant that it took a lot for them to get drunk, but that didn’t mean they would overdo it.
• After eating, the packhouse was boisterous with the tv blaring with sports, the game room filled with playful banter and the pool just outside the packhouse filled with wolves. They all knew the fun wouldn’t last, so they soaked up as much as they could.
