Chapter 46 Caught Up Past
- Dylan was in his study smoking a cigar and drinking whiskey. It had been 45 minutes since he told them to leave, so he got up from his desk and strolled upstairs to Brigette’s room. He peered inside and saw her crying on the floor, his anger dissipated slightly.
- This was someone that he raised as his own for 23 years. He knew all along that Brigette wasn’t his daughter, but he stayed with Aria despite his knowledge of her affair. Aria only stayed with Dylan because of his money and power; but now, that was slowly going away.
- He walked into her room and his eyes bore holes in her features. “Hurry up! You have 10 minutes to leave my place! I don’t want to see either of you ever again!” As he turned to leave, he spoke once more. “By the way, you are hereby stripped of your title and your finances! You are no longer of my concern.”
