Chapter 8

• Macy POV
• I woke up sweating and panting, the same dream again! This needs to stop. I have been having these weird dreams lately, I can’t think of my boyfriend’s brother to the point that I dream of us together.
• Getting up I get ready for work, it has been a week since the party, and I have been busy as hell. I quickly leave the house after getting ready.
• It was lunchtime and I decided to eat at the restaurant just opposite the office when I spotted a black car parked out front, in less than an hour I finished and left back to the office.
• Done for the day, I headed to the parking lot, when I noticed that same black car again it felt like I was being watched and followed and that creeped me out. I had that feeling someone was keeping a close watch on me, and without wasting much time, I got into my car and drove off.
• Liam POV
• I couldn’t help it, I needed to see her, Rage wanted her so bad. It was becoming difficult to keep him at bay.
• " Liam, you know we could go to jail for this, this is not right at all."
• " Greg no one’s going to jail, you don’t have to remind me of human law. So, it’s now a crime to see my mate?"
• " Not at all Alpha, it’s never a crime to see your mate, especially when she knows what you are or who you are to her, but she doesn’t. She only knows you as her boyfriend’s brother, Liam. You shouldn’t stalk her like this."
• Greg is right, this is not the way to go about it, but I don’t have a choice now. It’s been a week since I saw her and I can’t control the bond, it craves her, I crave her. I want her so bad I can’t think properly. I haven’t been able to work, eat or even sleep properly. Greg has taken over everything at the pack assisted by my father. I only attend meetings which I don’t pay attention to either, it’s been a hell of a week for me and the only thing I wanted was my Mate!
• I stared at her seated in the restaurant, she looks so beautiful in that yellow flower dress she has on. Rage stares through my eyes too.
• ” You have to tell him eventually Liam or I will!” Rage says angrily as he paces in my head.
• “I know, I will soon.”
• "You have to do it today, I am not staying any longer apart from her, she needs to know who she belongs to Liam and that’s us, not Derick, she is ours! Because it seems you need a reminder.”
• "You don’t have to remind me, I am fully aware that she’s ours, so don’t talk to me about that! And concerning Derick, I’ll handle him. Plus she’s human she’s not gonna just accept us like that, so let me handle it the human way, please. "
• ” Yea right, so much for handling it the human way. You are seated in your car with your Beta, um what did he call it again; oh yea Stalking!“
• ” Shut the fuck up wolf you know nothing!“
• I shoved him down and blocked him off. Rage’s becoming a pain in my ass lately, I have so much on my plate, and arguing with an obsessed horny wolf is not among them.
• ” You talking to Rage? Cause you to look pissed.”
• ” He’s being a pain in my ass, and am not ready for his tantrums. “
• Greg laughs at my words.
• ” What’s funny? ” I ask irritated.
• ” You do realize that he’s an animal, right? He doesn’t think like us, so take it easy, you are taking things too hard on yourself.”
• ” How can I uh? Greg, my brother, thinks he owns my mate, and my mate is in love with my brother! It’s so hard to take that easy, and now I have an obsessed wolf in my head who thinks he can tell me what to do. So tell me, Greg, how do I take this easy?”
• He looks ahead without uttering a word.
• " I thought as much. "
• She finished lunch and went back to her office, I patiently waited for her to be done to see her again. After waiting a few hours, she finally came down to the parking lot. I noticed her staring in our direction. For a minute, I thought she saw me, then I remembered the car glass is tinted, only from inside can you see the person outside.
• She looked scared at us and immediately got in her car and left.
• " I think she noticed us at the Restaurant." I say.
• " A black car with tinted glass following me, I’d be scared too if I was human. " Greg says.
• Just then my phone rings. “Yes Dad, what! How many? Shit I am on my way! "
• " What the hell just happened, Liam? And why are you driving this fast? "
• " There’s been an attack on the eastern side of the waterfall."
• " What? Who the hell in his right senses would think of attacking us? "
• " Dad said they’re Rogues. "
• " How many? "
• " He says like fifteen of them, but they have managed to kill seven. "
• " Fuck that's where the hospital is located. I hope everything is under control, it’s been a while since I tore anything with my hands. " Greg says.
• I drove on the highest speed limit, my pack was my family, they are everything to me and I would rather die than have anything happen to my family. No one messes with my family.
• As we approached the pack border, Greg and I both got out of the car. I mind-linked the pack warriors.
• " How’s the situation? "
• " Alpha we have managed to eliminate eleven of them, four are still in pursuit. " Jackson my head of warriors says.
• " Where are they headed? "
• " To pack house Alpha."
• " My father and brother? "
• " Chasing them down, Alpha. "
• " Take care of casualties if they are any, block all entrances into the territory, none of them leaves here alive, and protect the cellars. "
• Greg and I Shift into our wolves and ran towards the pack house.
