• Who on earth has decided to ruin my fun, I murmur inwardly. Macy stiffens in my arms, her heart beating so loud, I look down at her face to see her all red from blushing. The person knocks on the door again, and I swear I am about to lose it.
• “ I'm sorry I have to cut short our little fun, but I promise we will continue this later,” I say to my mate, whose head is bent to the ground. I raise her head with my hands to meet my gaze, and she is biting her lip, moving her eyes around, and avoiding my eyes.
• “ Macy, did you hear me?”
