Chapter 54

• Derick holds my hands in his, leading me toward the lake, we stop in front of a rock and he helps me take a seat. Thereon he sits beside me, and we both stay in silence for a while enjoying the cool breeze and the wonders of nature, this place is indeed beautiful.
• I take in a deep breath, as my eyes wander around. Derick moves his hands toward mine, he picks up my hand and entwined my fingers with a sad smile on his face.
