• The meeting lasted the whole day, Mr. Cole even had to force me to have dinner with him, which I did because I couldn’t say no to him. According to him, it was to celebrate the signing of our new deal. I couldn't wait to see my Macy, I have missed her so much. To spice up the evening, I decided to buy a bottle of her favorite wine and some flowers for her.
• I got to her apartment and opened the door myself because I knew the password to her house, being the one boyfriend privilege I have. I grinned to myself as I walked in, not wanting to alert her. The sight in front of me was Macy passed out on the couch with the television on, She must have slept off, I mutter. I reach out to her, removing the strands of hair that had fallen, covering her face. Her eyes open as I touch her, and she blinks before sitting up, eyes wide open, she looks surprised to see me. I smile at her countenance.
