• In the control room Barents and Tillis watched the spectacle with increased curiosity. "Interesting," Barents commented, taking down notes. "The Prison Creature biomass has instinctively latched onto her bodily needs, so to speak. It makes me wonder what it will do once we introduce the mind probing tentacles into the subject."
• "Well, what are you waiting for?" Tillis demanded.
• "I wanted to introduce the pregnancy program into the subject first." Barents said, pressing a couple of commands into the computer. "You did say that you wanted the subject conscious for that."
