Christina listened to the creature as it gave her a rundown of its species' past and how they've failed to get more than a handful of ships into Earth's atmosphere which is thicker than that of their home world. Christina mulled the problem over as, with the help from the creature, she relived each of their ship's reentries. It looks like your angle of attack is far too steep. I think that your pilots might be basing their angle on that of your home world and not accounting for the denser atmosphere. I'd have to do more study and research into this, but I believe that I can at least help your next one not disintegrate before it reaches the surface.
