• Before I could speak, Damon pushed the door open and walked in, a triumphant smile plastered on his face. The force of the door almost sent me stumbling to the ground, but as I staggered backward, Damon swiftly turned to me, catching me before I could reach the ground.
• His level of speed still baffled me. I mean, how could someone always move that fast? It was the same thought I had when he had caught up with me. It had been so soon.
