- “Kiss me” My eyes dilated in incredulity at once. What? “Kiss me, then I'll forget all the grief that you've caused me” He whispered in a husky voice then blew out air into my ear, causing me to tremble violently. He gradually let go of my two hands then held my jaw, framing it in his firm and wide palms. My heart was now pounding strongly as if it could jump out of my chest anytime. His eyes were exceptionally attractive like it was full of water, sparkling and deep. Watching his face approaching my lips, I quickly opened my mouth but failed to say a single word then suddenly, I felt his warm lips against mine. “….”
- My eyes widened in disbelief as I've never done this before. His lips moved hotly against mine as his tongue swept against my lower lip, asking for entrance. Soon, I began to indulge in the kiss and opened up then my hands subconsciously flew to hold his hands on my face, drowning into the kiss. Unexpectedly, “Amelia?” I heard a familiar voice call out my name from behind. With fast action, I pulled out of his grasp then turned around to behold Callie at my back. My heart shook violently, and it seemed it had fallen off my chest and broken into a million pieces. “Callie” I muttered, watching how she closed up the little distance between us. I gulped, “It's not what you're thinking Callie, believe me, it was an accident. I'll never indulge myself with your boyfriend” I rushed the first words that came into my mind at that moment in a breath as tears blurred my vision. “But that's how it appears Amelia, you just indulged with my boyfriend,” She said plainly, looking directly into my eyes with undisguised disgust across her clear eyes. “Callie…” I reached out to hold her hand, but she instantly raised her hand to my face, stopping my movement. “I trusted you, Amelia, I loved you even more than I love my twin sister. I respected you, respected your efforts, and would never do anything to hurt you. But is this what I deserve in return?” The tears in her eyes finally fell, and I couldn't help mine too, as they uncontrollably spilled from my eyes. “Forgive me, Callie, I would never hurt you deliberately. It was a mistake, please forgive me” I explained, moving a step forward, but she only stepped back. “Now I understand why mom, dad, and Clare never loves you. It's obvious you don't deserve it, you're a bitch!” Her tone was full of grievance, and before I could say another word, she had spun around and run out of the room. “Callie!” I shouted and made to run after her but stopped abruptly then returned to my previous position and lifted my head to look at his face. And to my utmost surprise, there was a triumphant smile touching his thin lips, my anger spiked as I tiptoed then sent a resounding slap across his face. Yet, there was a mischievous smile playing on his lips. “You monster! You got what you wanted, isn't it?” I roared in anger, my shoulder trembling because of anger. “I must commend your lips were so soft Darling, do you mind if I kiss you one more time?” He sneered, stooped, and moved his head closer. Without a moment resistance, I slapped his other cheek with force this time then scowled, “Stay away from me, as far away as possible,” Wearing an annoyed expression on his majestic face, he opened his mouth to talk, but I already turned my back against him, running to the door.
- I reached the premises with a few people passing by occasionally, I panted heavily as there was no trace of Callie. “Whoa, whoa, whoa” the voice came from my back, I swiftly turned around and saw Clare standing very close to me with her hands crossed beneath her breasts. Her brown hair was combed in pigtails, she was wearing a blue denim shirt with a black pair of trousers together with a pair of white sneakers on her feet. It was my first time seeing her in the school since the day I resumed. Callie had said she was suspended. “So, Callie was right after all” She began, checking me from bottom to up and from up to bottom. “It's obvious from your dress Amelia, your so-called guardian is rich. Now, you're looking like the Thompson, or you're no longer part of us?” The trace of sneer that was flitting across her eyes was evident, without saying any word to her, I turned around and left.
