Ethan could feel the tension radiating off Brandon, could see the slight tremor in his hands as he processed the implications of what they'd just learned. Despite the shock of the revelations, Ethan knew he had to step in and defend Brandon, not letting him get overwhelmed by the detective's relentless questioning.
