Brandon longed for Ethan to call and admit that he hadn't meant what he said back in Italy. He wanted to hear that it was all a mistake, a reaction born from confusion. Brandon hoped for that apology, knowing deep down that whatever had been brewing between them wasn't one-sided. Ethan was just forcing it to seem that way.
