Chapter 160 Running Out Of Love
- Ethan’s voice—dead, scattered to the winds along with his ashes. Yet, here it was, steady and alive, carrying Brandon like he weighed nothing.
- "Ethan?" Brandon's voice was faint, more to himself than to the man holding him in his arms. His mind was foggy, still clouded by the drugs, but he knew that scent, that warmth, and that unmistakable voice.
- "Shhh," Ethan hushed him gently, cradling him as he made his way toward a car. The night air hit Brandon's skin, cold and biting, making him shudder. Outside, the scene was chaotic—FBI, SWAT, police, and other government forces swarmed the area, mingling with Aldo’s men and Ethan’s personal guards. They had secured the building, and bodies, some of them Penelope's men, were being carried out. The surviving ones were handcuffed and led away, defeated. The place was in ruins.
